Wellness care
The treatments we provide at Strong and Active go beyond treating an injury after it happens. We also aim to significantly decrease the odds of injuries before they occur. This is what we call prehab; preventing the chance of injury occurrences with our unique multidisciplinary approach to chiropractic and exercise. Our full body assessment will identify deficiencies in strength and ranges of motion. Based on our findings we will tailor a treatment plan to optimally prepare you for the sports and activities you love. Book an assessment with us today.

Elbow pain
Some common injuries in the elbow are:
- Golfer’s elbow ( aka “medial epicondylitis”) – This is pain and inflammation of the tendons on the medial side of the elbow and forearm due to overuse of these tendons. It is commonly referred to as Golfer’s elbow because during the golf swing these tendons are put under an intense amount of repetitive stress. However, medial epicondylitis can occur as the result of many repetitive activities. It can be very painful and limiting.
- Little league elbow (aka “medial epicondylitis”) – Very similar to Golfer’s elbow, but this commonly occurs in young athletes competing in overhead throwing sports. In addition to inflammation in the tendons on the medial side of the elbow and forearm, these young athletes have inflammation in the growth plates in their elbow. This can be extremely painful and debilitating.
- Tennis elbow (aka “lateral epicondylitis”) – This is pain and inflammation in the tendons on the lateral side of the elbow and forearm due to overuse of these tendons. It is commonly referred to as Tennis elbow because there is a tremendous amount of repetitive stress put on these tendons in the swinging motion in tennis. However, lateral epicondylitis can occur as the result of many repetitive activities putting stress on these tendons. It can be extremely painful and limiting.
Our combination approach will help get you back playing your sport in no time! Schedule an assessment with us, and let’s get you pain free.
